Please join UNCF and a host of dignitaries and friends for the 19th anniversary of this Charlotte tradition, Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Luncheon. The luncheon is a signature fundraising event for UNCF, named in honor of our beloved friend and longtime supporter, the late Dr. Maya Angelou.
This year’s event is virtual, and still the “can’t miss” event of the year!During the Luncheon, women who are leaders and who have brought positive recognition locally, statewide and nationally will receive the distinguished Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Award.
Named after loyal UNCF supporter, the late Dr. Maya Angelou, the luncheon annually honors women whose footprints positively impact our state and regional community. Proceeds from the luncheon will be used to benefit students in North Carolina and the historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) that educate them.
