The Shaw University’s University Innovation Fellows (UIF), trained by Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school), will host a Mental Health Wellness Week. This week full of events, includes partnerships with Academic Affairs, the Shaw University Counseling Center, and the Student Government Association (SGA). The UIF team aims to inform all campus stakeholders about the importance of self-care and how to improve it mentally and physically.
The Mental Health Wellness Week activities begin next week, Monday, March 6-Friday, March 10, 2023. Participating in these events can enhance your academic performance, time management, job performance, and overall health and well-being.
The Fellows look forward to having each student, faculty member, and staff member engage in the daily activities of next week!
Monday, March 6th:
Flex Fitness-Lexis
Work your mind, body and soul as we stretch and learn various yoga exercises.
Come to this event to show off your flexibility skills by participating in and learning various yoga exercises.

Group walk to the YMCA (Please sign-up for this event before Sunday, March 5th)
